Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions shall govern the relationship between SSL and the "user" / "visitor", in respect of their access to this site. Access to the site is subject to these terms.  By using the site you demonstrate that you have read and accepted these terms.

  1. General - In this document "SSL" shall mean Stock Software Ltd, who hold the copyright, intellectual property rights, and are the owners of this site  Registered with www.nominet.org.uk

    The "user" or "visitor" shall mean the person who is accessing the site.

  2. This site is provided on an "as is" basis. SSL make every effort to provide honest and accurate information, but makes no representations or guarantees or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the site, or the information, content, materials, products or services included on this site.

  3. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, SSL hereby excludes ALL warranties regarding the site, including warranties that might otherwise be implied as to quality performance, or fitness for purpose. SSL shall have no liability for any claim whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise, from your use of, or inability to use the site or any material contained on it or from anything you might do or refrain from doing as a result of using the site or such material.

  4. The site will contain advertising material submitted to SSL by advertisers. The terms on which SSL accepts such advertising is that the advertiser is responsible for ensuring that the advertising material complies with all relevant law and codes of practice. SSL shall have no responsibility to you in respect of that material nor for any inaccuracy, error or omission in such material. 

  5. SSL shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and subsequential damages.

  6. Intellectual Property - All content included on this site, such as code, programs, software lookup/encoding tables, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of SSL and protected by UK and international copyright laws.

  7. Access - You are permitted to view, print and download extracts from this site for your own personal use only. You may not publish, reproduce, transmit or store any part of the site or its contents nor may you disseminate them in any form nor include them in any retrieval system (whether public or private). 

    The use and access to the site is personal to the user. 

    You shall not permit anyone else to obtain access to the site nor may you do anything which would or might allow any person other than you to have access to all or any part of the site and/or any part of the information contained on it. 

    The content and software on this site may be used as a reference resource. Any other use, including the reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance, of the content on this site is strictly prohibited. Your licence to use the site is limited accordingly. If you breach this term SSL may forthwith cancel your right to access the site.

  8. Duration - Your right of access to the site is for an indefinite term, and  subject to the provisions for termination contained in these terms. Either SSL or you may terminate these arrangements at any time by notice served on the other.

  9. Continuation of Service - SSL shall not be liable to you for any interruption or delay that you experience in obtaining access to the site, whatever the cause.

  10. Variations to the terms and conditions - SSL reserves the right to add to, or amend all or any part of these terms by placing details on the site.

    You shall be responsible for referring to those details on accessing the service. The alterations will be effective twenty four hours after first being placed on the site. 

    If you are not prepared to accept those changes you must serve notice on SSL to that effect (thus terminating your registration) forthwith; continuing to access the site as opposed to serving such notice after that time will constitute your acceptance of any such alterations.

  11. Notices - Notices shall be served by either party by email to the email address notified by the other party from time to time. Notices will be deemed to have been served one hour after transmission.

  12. Law and Jurisdiction - These terms shall be governed by English law and SSL and the user submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

  13. Commercial Partners - All commercial partners on the site are independent traders and are not connected in any way with SSL. Consequently any contracts that are placed via any network site are placed directly with the relevant trader and not with or in any way involving SSL.

    Payments are made direct to the trader and the trader is responsible for responding to and for all aspects of fulfillment of all orders. Please note that orders placed with traders constitute offers and do not form binding commitments on the trader until they are accepted (either expressly or by conduct). SSL shall have no liability arising from any dealings between you and any trader.

  14. Linked Sites - SSL is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the linked websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. Listing shall not be taken as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work.
